Stoneware bottle with stopper glazed in my ash and dolomite glaze with painterly marks on the surface.

These bottles hold approximately 250ml. They are thrown on my Shimpo wheel using grogged stoneware clay and each has a small thrown stopper that rests gently on the rim. All my work is made in my garden studio in Brighton. The surface is covered in a dolomite and ash wood glaze that I make using the ash from my wood burning stove. Pattern or wax resisted marks are added to the surface.

Hand wash is recommended to prolong use, although all my products are dishwasher and microwave safe. I put all my stoneware in the dishwasher on a daily basis without problem.
